Risk Assessment

We use your risk assessment form to analyse your business and suggest what First Aid equipment you are required to provide. 
There may be additional equipment or facilities that would be advisable but at H+S First we keep it simple and base our recommendations on current legislation and guidance.

All advice is given based on your answers.

When assessing your business we refer to "zones of cover" in your workplace. 

You should separate zones if:

  1. They are more than a sixty second walk apart

  2. They contain different hazards

  3. They are on different floors

For example: A pub with a public bar, a kitchen and a separate accommodation would likely have three zones of cover.

You are required to provide separate equipment based on each zone.

Please remember you need seperate cover if the zones:
1) Are more than 60 seconds walk apart
2) Contain different working environments (e.g. warehouse and office)
3) Are on different floors.
